Junk Food refers to food that only provides some calories, it does not contain much of any other nutrients. It’s mostly food that exceeds the needs of the human body and becomes a superfluous ingredient. This post highlights why you must stop junk foods.

Junk food includes: fried foods, preserved foods, processed meat products (meat, meat, sausage, ham, etc.), biscuits (including all processed biscuits), soda cola beverages, fast foods (which mainly Refers to instant noodles and puffed foods), canned foods (including fish and fruits), frozen desserts (ice cream, popsicles, etc.), barbecued foods.

Carbonated Drinks:

A bottle of carbonated drink is equivalent to a bottle of sugar, and its harm is far more than fat. It can also cause serious health problems such as cancer, precocious puberty and hormonal imbalances.

Most carbonated beverages have a range of additives such as fructose syrup, food coloring, and preservatives. Some carbonated drinks also contain stabilizers, which can cause harm to your teeth, memory loss, nervous disorders and skin problems.

Artificial Sweetener:

There are currently five types of artificial sweeteners that are certified as safe for consumption by the US Food and Drug Administration: acesulfame, aspartame, neotame, saccharin, and sucralose.

Although these are very low in calories or even no calories, they can still cause a range of diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, metabolic disorders, and coronary heart disease.

Storage-resistant Condiments:

There is no doubt that these shelf-stable condiments make our lives easier. A variety of small-packaged dipping sauces, canned ketchup, and salad dressings and even coffee creamers are readily available on the table.

But for their conveniences, what health costs have we paid?

These condiments can be stored without refrigeration in the refrigerator because they contain many preservatives, food additives such as pigments, sweeteners, Trans fatty acids and chemical additives.

At the same time, in the process of making condiments, those nutrients, fiber and high-quality fat were manually removed.

Majority of these condiments pose serious health risk to our body at the long run, than the immediate needs they seem to serve. This is why you should cut down on the intake.

Processed Meat:

Extensive studies have shown that eating processed meat can cause premature death, hmm you read it right!

Processed meats include bacon, ham, hot dogs, salami, smoked sausages and other meats from the delicatessen. These meats have four times the sodium content of regular meat and twice the additive content of regular meat.

Processing meat increases the risk of coronary heart disease and cancer. Scientific research has shown that if the daily intake of processed meat is controlled within 20 grams, 3% of deaths can be avoided.

Stop excessive or regular consumption of processed meats.

Vegetable Butter:

Vegetable butter contains trans-fatty acids, so it is considered one of the most harmful fats.

Dairy Products:

Large amounts of saturated fat in whole-fat dairy products can cause heart disease and stroke. Even if we switch to skim milk products, some harmful ingredients are still inevitable, such as recombinant growth hormone.

This hormone is used to promote the production of milk, and the intake of hormone-containing dairy products, we humans will also cause a series of health problems.

Fried Foods:

Many people can’t stop eating fried foods. Even the current first lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, admits that she loves French fries very much lol.

The danger of eating fried foods is the high temperature of the food when it is fried, because high temperatures can cause the formation of toxic and harmful chemicals.

Therefore, we eat these fried junk foods, which will not only make us fat, but also cause a series of health problems, such as causing a stroke or causing various cancers such as breast cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer.

If men eat fried foods such as donuts, fried chicken, fried fish one or more times per week, the risk of prostate cancer will increase by 30% to 37%.

I know we can’t generally stop it, but we can minimize the intake of junk food.
